The British Council Creative Industries Expo, now in it’s 4th edition is billed to hold this December on the 8th and 9th at the Weston Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos with the theme COLLABORATION: The power of Shared Knowledge and Resources in Building a Creative Ecosystem.
The expo will feature speakers from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and UK. They include Kathleen Stokes, National Endowment for Science Technology & the Arts, UK; Paul Nwulu, Ford Foundation; Oliver Marlow, Studio TILT, UK; Chike Maduegbuna, CEO Afrinolly; Leslie Donna Williams, Founder of Impact Hub, South Africa; Femi Longe, Co-Founder, CCHub; Marc-Andre Schmactel, Director, Goethe Institut; Seyi Taylor, Tech Cabal; Nkiru Asika, CEO, Enterprise Creative; Judy Ogana, Go Down Arts Centre, Kenya and Andrea Burns, ROCO UK.
For the first time,the expo will feature a pitching contest in which selected creative and digital entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a a panel of hub owners and entrepreneurs for opportunities to win business development support and mentorship opportunities.
